Rebrand (My role: Lead Brand Director, Design Director) The Renaissance Hotels & Resorts guest is an explorer with a unique perspective on travel and the role it plays in life. When a guest walks into a hotel room, they embrace a unique space with excitement, as a true discoverer always does. We were asked to create an identity for Renaissance that had a subtle nod to discovery and human craftsmanship. After a vast explore, we netted out with a classic monogram containing hand-drawn characteristics. If you happen to come across this logo in large-scale, you'll discover the "R" was produced from a small-scale, hand-drawn sketch.
